Promises bind,
spoken words, good and true
that elevate hearts.
Tender words that whisper hope of
lovingkindness,
mercy,
righteousness,
justice,
and faithfulness.
Beyond these, what matters?
I am my Beloved's
and He is mine.
I will betroth you to Me forever. I will betroth you in righteousness and justice,
in love and compassion. I will betroth you in faithfulness and you will know the Lord.
