A shoot
still young and tender,
growing out of dry ground.
There is no
majesty or strength
yet formed.
This is what natural eyes see,
but there is so much more.
A reminder of One
Who had no form
or comliness.
A reminder of branches,
each one a part,
with hearts
in every shape and stage.
Some are newly formed,
some more mature,
some even torn.
Precious few are fully formed,
though all are bathed in
Morning Light.
A reminder
of how our Father sees,
not as man sees us,
rather
He looks upon the heart.
Even a reminder
that we can learn to love Him
with all our heart,
just as He loves us with all of His,
as we grow in Morning Light.
