Beauty and Splendor Kiss

Morning light shines even more brightly

as white blankets

and jonquil's beauty and snow's splendor kiss.

It is a time of unsolicited cover

and yet the gift is felt and seen

in the moment that will soon fade,

leaving only a smile of remembrance

of the glory revealed.

Spring brings what no other season can...

an understanding of the fragility of life

so quickly gone.

Drink deeply of this beauty

made available only between blinks.

And the glorious beauty is a fading flower which is at the head of the verdant valley, like the first fruit before the summer...
