That Which I Have Come to Know

On quiet days
when only rain is heard
and barren trees blow gentle,
I hold a truth deep within
that Spring will come.
Whether early or delayed,
hard or soft,
it will come.
Rains will soon birth green
and rivers will swell
with blessing poured out
that covers and nurtures,
and with it,
beauty unmatched
in colors vibrant
with new growth and new joy,
that hearts might soar.
Renewed earth awakens,
as does hope
that is seen and felt deep within.
That which I have come to know
will be made manifest.
Spring will come
again.

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as

crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river was

the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its

fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the

healing of the nations.
